2019 June Seminar
Tuesday, 11 June 2019

The Phoenix Hotel
40 Wallace Avenue, Point Cook
VIC 3030

Our next function will be held at The Phoenix Hotel, located at 40 Wallace Avenue, Point Cook.

We are privileged to have a guest speaker from beyondblue. Tim Stewart is a volunteer speaker for beyondblue, a national organisation that works to raise awareness about anxiety and depression, reduce the associated stigma and encourage people to get help.

Tim became a beyondblue speaker to share his many life experiences with anxiety, depression and attempted suicide, as well as coming out as gay in his early 50’s. His purpose is to offer hope, recovery and build resilience to those who are affected by mental health conditions, along with their family and friends. He also wants to offer hope and support to the LGBTI community.

Tim will share his journey of hope, recovery and resilience in the face of depression, talk about what beyondblue does and how the audience can seek help or support a friend or family member who may find themselves in a difficult position.

Let’s get together and enjoy a relaxing night and enjoyable dinner at The Phoenix Hotel.
